Fryingpan Glacier : Fourth of July Weekend, 2005

Scott, Doc, and I traveled to Mt. Rainier National Park, car camped at the White River Campground, did a fun loop hike one day on the Mt. Burroughs trail, then schleped the skies and boots on our backs up the Summerland trail the next day for an awesome awesome July ski on Fryingpan Glacier on Mt. Rainier. Spectacular views of Mt. Tahoma and the Emmons glacier, Mt. Adams, herds of mountain goats, ladybugs, wildflowers, and even two dead birds lying mysteriously in the snow.
