At the trailhead. We had to walk about a mile to get to the real trailhead because of impassable snow.

Later that first day, we take a tour around and ski up to this viewpoint. You can sort of see the lake in the background.
Here is home for the night, a backcountry hut.

The skiing is good though.
There is really a nice view here, with the lake in the distance. We can barely see it though!
Back at the hut after our little ski tour.
The next day, the snow is falling hard. Everything is windy and white.
I think you can see behind the hillside that we had just skied down. Now headed back up to ski this side.
Our packs got heavy as the snow on the branches fell down on top of us. We skied through the trees on the trail for as long as I could. I gave up earlier than Scott Phil and Martina! Takes some skill to maneuever through the branches.

Back at the traihead, heading down the road to our car parked further down. Snow all over us!
Scott's pack was heavy with snow too!
Marin hanging out on the condo deck. We had a nice forested view. There was a pileated woodpecker hanging out there too! And a varied thrush.
